Sí señores, definitivamente ayer fue un día de Gloria para Venezuela. Dos Compatriotas, Maickel Melamed e Ivian Sarcos nos dieron una lección de superación personal.
Maickel a quién no le daban 7 días de vida al nacer y se le decía que no iba a poder caminar por ser diagnosticado con un retraso motor, caminó nada más y nada menos que 44 Km. en el Maratón de Nueva York. Hoy en día tiene 36 años, es Economista de una de las mejores universidades de Venezuela y esta dedicado a hacerle entender a la gente que nada es imposible en esta vida.
Por otra parte tenemos a nuestra nueva Miss Mundo Ivian Sarcos a quién no le tocó nada fácil la vida, huérfana, criada en un convento y en vías de convertirse en religiosa hoy es nuestra SEXTA MISS MUNDO VENEZOLANA.
Son muchas señales juntas que nos hacen cambiar nuestro pensamiento. Aunado a esto tenemos el logro de nuestra selección nacional que se quitó de encima el sobrenombre de
"LA CENCIENTA DE AMERICA". Señores, Venezuela es una tierra de gracia, no desistamos en la idea de que puede volver a ser el país que encantó a tantos extranjeros por sus bondades y por sus riquezas, en el cual vivía gente feliz y amable y que tenía una capital que era considerada una de las mas importantes de América Latina muy lejana a aparecer entre el listado de las ciudades más peligrosas del mundo.
Que nadie nos quite esa bondad que ayer se desbordaba en los videos del Maratón de Nueva York, cuando a la llegada de Maickel los cientos de venezolanos que esperaban en la meta hicieron sentir al corear orgullosamente las estrofas de nuestro Himno Nacional.
Apliquemos la frase de Maickel "SI LO SUEÑAS HAZ QUE PASE". Por eso piensa también en tu país y colabora de alguna manera a mejorarlo. Un gran paso sería saliendo a votar en las próximas elecciones, no importa si estas afuera viviendo muy cómodo VENEZUELA es tu país, eso sería imperdonable.
